At Harvesters, stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. We recognize and acknowledge that every resource entrus ted to us is a gift from God and should be utilized with care. As part of our stewardship, we optimize resources and distribute them where they are needed most. Likewise, we are continually seeking ways to improve how we operate and administer the activities in which we are involved. We monitor and review projects and costs, use donations and grants for their intended purposes, and look for ways to maximize the impact of all that we do. In addition, we continually strive to keep our overhead rate low so that we can continue to send 100% of designated funds to the field. In 2007 (the most recent year audited), 91.5% percent of our total revenue was utilized for church planting, evangelism, education, care of children, water, medicine and other ministry activites. Each year, our financial records are audited by an independent auditor, a copy of which is available upon request, and submit ourselves to the rules and guidelines necessary for membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).
