I was saved at a young age and raised in a Christian home. It wasn’t until my sophomore year in college that I realized what it meant to surrender to Christ so that He could be Lord of my life and at that point my life was changed.  Christ became alive in me and I saw what it was that I not try to live for Him but He through me.

I always felt like I would do something with missions but imagined that it would simply be an annual short-term mission trip.  On my first trip with Harvesters, on an October 2006 medical trip, I knew the Lord was calling me to fulltime missions.  I committed to Him and told the team that this is what God had me to do.  Shortly after that trip I came on staff with HIM and now I’m leading teams to Africa and working at home on behalf of our national partners.

Never would I have thought that the Lord would call me into missions and ministry.  God’s grace is abundant and His ways are not our ways.  I’ve really seen and learned that these few years in missions and I’m very thankful for His love.  I pray that I may have the same attitude as Paul, that I might count all things loss in view of the surpassing greatness of knowing Jesus Christ my Lord.

Currently, I am raising support to come on staff fulltime at Harvesters.  I trust that since God called me to missions He will provide the means for me to do it.  I do ask for your prayers and consideration that God would provide and continue to meet all of our needs so I might serve Him in fulltime ministry.
