Prayer is vital in our relationship with the Lord. The ministry of Harvesters would not exist without the prayers of the faithful.

Jesus' sermon on mission in Matthew 10 shows the Lord observing for His disciples that the harvest is plenteous but that the laborers are few. To address the scarcity of laborers, the Lord does not direct His disciples to plan an enlistment campaign. On the contrary, He commands His disciples to pray that the Lord of the harvest will thrust forth laborers into the fields.

Please pray for our partner in Myanmar and the pastors that work with him. Many of the house churches have been closed by the authorities and the new, main house church has also been closed and is meeting at the orphanage site again which is not weather secure.

Dr. Rosie, Ranu's mother, will undergo revised total hip replacement next week in Chennai, India. At age 78, this is a potentially dangerous procedure. Please uphold them, their children and their families at this time. Please pray for the surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, physiotherapists and all people involved in surgery and post-op care. Kindly pray for successful surgery and fast recovery. Rosie & Jacob have peace in their hearts about this surgery; they know this is God's will for them.

Lack of rain has resulted in shortage of food, the likes of which, have not been seen in recent history. Please pray for the provision of food for the orphanage children.
